Mitsubishi Pajero 4 began to be produced in 2008.
Pajero is a twelve-time winner of the Paris-Dakar races. These are complex and exhausting races with a length of about 9,000 kilometers, with different types of roads – stone, dirt and sand. To the present, they conducted two facies, speaking by car jargon. The first restyling was carried out in 2011, which practically did not change the appearance of the car. The company slightly changed the appearance of the radiator grille and the front bumper. In 2014, a second restyling was carried out, which made the car much more interesting and prettier.
In the second restyling, a radiator grille was also changed, which gave the volume to the headlights and made them more massive. And, of course, Pajero 4 finally had LED headlights, like all modern cars, but the truth is these headlights are not the main, but ordinary fog of tumulors.
The main headlights are xenon, they are installed even on the simplest trim levels of Pajero 4, the light is very decent and even a little better than that of his competitors Toyota Land Cruiser Prado Prado and others. Fogans are made in the style of Mercedes, in a straight line and nothing more.
Starting since 2011, the rear-view cameras began to install more simple sets, and Mitsubishi engineers approached this very interestingly, since when the rear moves, the image is displayed on the rear-view mirror and, in addition to the camera, the long-awaited USB connector appeared in the car.

The rest of the car has not changed in any way from 2008 to the present, it is still the same reliable and heavy SUV as it was before. On the previous model, the car body was installed on a frame, in Pajero 4 engineers decided to remove the frame, and make it integrated, in favor of the dynamics and controllability of the car, which they did well. When replacing the frame with an integrated body, I did not lose its strength, but the validity of the car has disappeared and now it does not crane in corners as before.
In addition to an integrated and strong frame, the famous Super Select 4WD transmission is installed on this SUV.
This transmission allows you to switch to all -wheel drive mode without stopping a car at speeds up to 100 kilometers per hour. It has four traffic modes – rear -wheel drive, the most economical and dynamic, all -wheel drive mode is great for slippery pavement, after rain or for the winter season, a full -wheel drive with a differential lock, which will help to get out of sand or light mud and a full -wheel drive from differential blocking and reduced transmission for the most difficult situations.
