If you are going to build a house – don’t even think to do it yourself. Do not start, do not try, do not try … The process can destroy your family, forever quarrel with relatives and friends. I understood this at the stage of the construction of the walls, perhaps that is why my husband and I still live happily. I managed to convince him and the father -in -law, proving that the normal contractor will cope with work not only faster, better, but also – do not believe it – cheaper.
Our secret is simple: we need to look not for a construction organization, but a company that has connections in the construction, transport market, as well as a proven base of joiners, glass, designers-decorators and other necessary specialists. Our “contractor” organized full -scale construction actions on the site with a cloud of people, complex equipment, with new technologies. The director of the company opened our eyes to many things. Thanks to his advice, we timely changed the project, having received twice as many living space on a smaller piece of land, installed metal-plastic windows of good quality instead of planned wooden, organized a winter garden instead of a veranda and much, much more.
The decision to buy plastic windows was not easy. Environmental friendliness, wood safety and all that … but 23 windows of various shapes and sizes (in t. h. attic, round and polygonal facade, panoramic in the winter garden) it was almost impossible to make wood. Thanks to this, the house turned out to be warm, cozy, some at once native. He didn’t even have to get a place. From the first day we felt unity with its walls, and he accepted us as relatives.
The plastic windows did not ruin either the energy of the house or its appearance. The main thing is to turn to these specialists in time, for whom there is nothing impossible. Want French windows over the entire wall – get, stained glass windows – please, bent glass or fazet – no problems. In addition, the windows installed by professionals helped create a special microclimate in the premises, protecting the house from the heat and from the cold. For our mini-orange (I want to unite our 50 plants under this name), we have received a completely perfect solution that provides heat and light for all our greenery in winter and in summer.
After two years of a happy life under the shelter, I can say unequivocally: we would not be able to build such a miracle on our own. I think we would still have poking around the elbow in clay, and it is unlikely that it would have come to the housewarming.
