Google is preparing to introduce a new AI assistant, Pixel Sense, which will become part of the Pixel 10 line. Initially, the project was created under the code name Pixie and was supposed to debut with Pixel 9, but then they decided to improve it.
Pixel Sense will work completely locally and use data from various Google applications: Chrome, Calendar, Gmail, YouTube, Maps and others. This will allow it to analyze user habits and offer recommendations depending on the context. The assistant will be able to process text, screenshots and other images, as well as AI-generated content.
Pixel Sense will help users perform everyday tasks faster, adapting to their preferences and adjusting to their individual style of interaction with the smartphone, and will also be able to automate routine processes.
User data will remain confidential – it will not be sent to the company’s servers. It is assumed that the assistant will be based on the Gemini Nano model, which will provide high speed information processing.
