In this article I will talk about the children’s room that I did for my son. When we decided to make repairs, there were no ideas for the design of the interior at all. After reading a couple of designer magazines, I didn’t choose anything, but I wanted the design of the children’s room to suit my child. From birth, my son does not let in toy cars out of his hands, he drags them everywhere: for a walk, in a kindergarten, on a visit and even go to bed with them. As soon as we get in the car, he immediately wants to steer, and it doesn’t matter, whether it be our car or a taxi. And after one such case, it occurred to me to make a room for a motorist, something that my son never forgot and always recalls the children’s years with a smile. And we decided to make a car in the form of a car in the children’s room.
I did not like those beds that I saw ready -made or projects of children’s rooms in a car style, and we decided to make it on order. We turned to the company that they were engaged in case furniture, picked up the bed project and the rest of the furniture on the computer (we already liked it very much then) and began to wait. When we were brought the bed, we could not get enough, because the original was even better than the project. I could not believe that our fantasies were embodied in reality. The bed turned out to be very convenient and functional. Handles for drawers were the wheels of our car. These boxes contain many toys that used to be lying on the floor, and the son liked them so much that he puts his entire “treasure” on his own. Our furniture made of chipboard was made, and the colors on it are bright and colorful, like the childhood of our baby. All drawings in the car, cabinet and chest of drawers are made using a stencil using only environmentally friendly paint. The nursery turned out just for our baby.
When his friends (twins) came to us and saw this masterpiece, they did not want to go home to their usual cribs. And they said that as soon as they came home, they would write Santa Claus a letter asking them to give them the same. After a couple of months, their parents had to order a bus for them, which was made on the basis of a bunk bed, but only of another material and color.
But recently I heard that there are machines on real wheels with fixators and they can be freely moved around the room, for example, to remove under it or just for the game.
How wonderful that we live in such a modern world that we can give our children their children’s dreams here in the form!
