The premiere of the updated Toyota Avensis model took place at the Geneva Motor Show, held in March 2015. Two options for the model are presented: sedan and station wagon.
This is the last update of Avensis, since in 2018 its production will be discontinued. There are two reasons to stop the production of Avensis: the relatively low popularity of the last version of the model and the lack of a hybrid version, which will become an obstacle to the sale of a model in European markets in 2020.
Avensis is not officially sold in the Russian market. The last restyling was noticeably affected by both appearance and on the design of the interior of the model. Avensis received an expanded set of modern equipment, an improved suspension, a new line of diesel engines. Japanese designers have changed Avensis as much as possible in front: narrow front headlights have an LED filling, an expressive air intake is placed on a powerful bumper, new outlines received a hood.

The body profile remains recognizable, but decorated with new patterns of wheel discs. The stern is decorated with new cryphones of dimensional lighting with LED filling, a modified trunk lid and a new bumper. As a result, the appearance of Avensis has become more modern and more solid. Due to the installation of a new form, the overall body length has become more than 40 mm millimeters. Body dimensions (meters): 4.75 in length (station wagon 4.82-va), 1.81-in width, 1.48-m in height, 2.70 wheelbase. Road clearance (clearance) 14 centimeters.
The design of the salon has completely changed and reflects the corporate style from Toyota. We note the use of more expensive high -quality decoration materials, improving soundproofing due to the use of special modern materials. Comfortable front seats have expressive side support. A new multifunctional steering wheel is in front of the driver, behind which round forms of a tachometer and speedometer are visible on the instrument panel, between which the on -board computer is located.

On the wide central console there is a large (8-m-inch) screen of the multimedia system and an updated block of control elements of a climate installation control elements. Between the front seats is a convenient wide armrest. Updated door maps. The list of installed equipment is very large. We note the presence of adaptive cruise control, the adaptive capabilities of the front headlights, the rain sensor, light sensors, a system for preventing clashes in front and tracking a strip. Avensis salon can be finished with skin.

Wheels with seventeen -inch or eighteen -inch discs are installed under the wheel arches. The suspension has become softer and more comfortable. More stable stability stabilizers increased the controllability of the car. The steering is equipped. Gasoline engines are the same: 1.60 liter (132-in forces), 1.8-m-liter (147-m forces), 2.0-in liter (152-s forces).
The listed engines work together with CVT-Coer. Two diesel engines 1.60 liter (112 forces) and 2.0-liter (143-rhi forces) can work with 6 high-speed MKPP. The average fuel consumption, depending on the engine, is 4.1-in-4.5 liter. The maximum speed of Avensis depends on the installed engine, approximately 200 km/hour.
