After removing the brake drum, remove the springs on the brake blocks. We drop the drive lever from the old pad to a new. We remove the old pads and install the new ones, while pulling the spring, making sure that the new brake pads are installed exactly in the grooves of the brake cylinder, and the handbrake bar fell into the connectors on the pads. The end of the cable clings to the drive lever on the block.
And the last stage, we put on the brake drum and the wheel back. Without lowering the car from the jack, you need to press the brake pedal several times, then go down to the pit check the cable stretch and, if necessary, pull the nut on the brake cable equamy. A manual brake is also regulated-for this, the parking brake handle rises and the cracks are considered, the amount of them should not exceed 8, the optimal solution will be from two to seven. Since the car is still on weight, it is necessary to turn the wheel with your hands and check that it rotates freely, without friction of the pads, otherwise it is possible to heat the brake drum.

It is worth knowing that the level of brake fluid in the tank should not be higher than the Max mark. The level should be slightly lower than the maximum mark. The reason for the fall in the level may be either a leak or excessive depreciation of the pads, leads to a decrease in the efficiency of braking and the carriage of a car. With the signal on the control panel of the low level of brake fluid, you should not immediately add, but it is better to check or change the brake pads, then add the brake fluid to the desired level.
