“At the moment, AvtoVAZ is in a difficult situation: the program of preferential lending is completed, the recycling program has already been completed, there is a general trend in market growth, the plant’s capacity is modernized,” says Vladimir Bespalov (VTB Capital). Under the recycling program, different autovaz models were implemented, not only the “classic”, as a result of which the abolition of the program hit the enterprise as a whole. He believes that the enterprise will have problems in 2012, and the success of Lada Granta is not obvious. The expert sees the only real way out for the enterprise in the assembly of Renault and Nissan cars. However, the AvtoVAZ transaction is not completed by the Alliance, and no one at the moment can name the deadline for its completion.
